Jordan rests in his personalized blankey
Our Smiley Little Guy...
Sorry for the lack of updates!  I just started a new job recently, so things have been quite busy...

I know many of you are concerned about our last post on 3/1/05 - but I am happy to report that Jordan is doing very well after his small bump in the road.  He has had four clinic visits since his last hospital stay, and the doctors are pleased with his progress.  They took him off one of the medications he took twice a day - so little by little his medications will be reduced until hopefully we'll be down to only two (as opposed to the eight he's on now).  Also, he continues to eat well and gain weight - now weighing in at 9 pounds 5 ounces!

As you can see from the picture above, Jordan has his smiley moments these days!  Each morning he greets us with big smiles (
click for video!) and light conversation (click for video!).  Of course, the meds we have to give him change his mood drastically, but he bounces back quickly after that.  Another thing that makes him very happy is Grandma Bilqis, who is staying with us for a couple of weeks to give Sadaf a hand while I'm at work.  And when he takes a nap, Oscar stays nearby to protect him.

That's all for now! As always, we thank you all for your continued support.  Please continue to check in on Jordan and keep him, and the baby whose heart now beats inside him, in your thoughts and prayers.

- Jeff (3/12/05)
