Jordan continues to recover well from the heart transplant surgery he underwent only nine days ago. They started letting us administer his medications to get us used to the routine. This will make the transition to home that much easier. We don't yet know when we can take him home, but we're in no rush to speed along the recovery beyond what is appropriate.
And then there's the fact that we don't exactly know where home will be once we leave... we still have the apartment in Brooklyn for as long as we want, but we'd like to be closer to the hospital (165th & B'way) since Jordan will have many hospital visits this next year. We're looking at an apartment in the Inwood section of Manhattan later today - but if you know of any good 2-3 BR apartments (up to $2000/month) available from the Upper West Side to Inwood to Northern New Jersey - shoot me an email (email address at bottom of page)!
Thanks so much for continuing to check in on Jordan - please continue to keep him, as well as the baby whose heart now beats inside him, in your thoughts and prayers. We will continue to keep you updated!
