JORDAN GETS BOOTED FROM THE PEDIATRIC I.C.U.!!
Don't worry - ITS A GOOD THING!!!  Yesterday they informed us that Jordan no longer needed to be in the Pediatric I.C.U. and they transfered him to a "regular" room.  We're on a floor dedicated to patients with cardiac and neurological issues.  The room is a lot more comfortable, with private sleep and shower arrangements for us parents.

Last night was the first time since Jordan was born that we felt like "normal" parents.  We woke up regularly to feed and change him. He was able to sleep for a few hours here and there and is still very responsive and alert.  The picture above is my new favorite. It was taken just as Sadaf was preparing to breastfeed and he was at his most alert. He still has the feeding tube in to ensure he is getting enough nutrition - but he is really getting the hang of breastfeeding, so hopefully they can pull that tube out soon.

We continue to be amazed at his progress and draw our inspiration from him constantly.  Thank you again for checking in on Jordan - please continue to keep him, as well as the baby whose heart now beats inside him, in your thoughts and prayers. We will continue to keep you updated!
