VENT IS REMOVED AND JORDAN IS BREATHING WELL ON HIS OWN |

Yesterday after we got to hold Jordan for the first time in 13 days, the doctors removed the ventilator that had been assisting Jordan's respiration since the surgery. They are giving him a small oxygen flow now because his little lungs are so used to being on the vent. Soon he should be able to just breathe the room air with no problem.
Sadaf also started breastfeeding again! It took a little while for Jordan to latch on since he's only had one day to practice - and that was 13 days ago! But he's doing well now.
We thank you all for continuing to visit this site and leave wonderful messages for Jordan. We are so thankful to be able to share his story with you and, hopefully, put a smile on your face. We will continue to keep you updated!
