OK, enough excuses. You came here to find out about Jordan! Yesterday he turned one month old, and I am very pleased to report that he continues to do wonderfully. We had our first clinic visits at the hospital this past week, and he passed all tests with flying colors. The doctors are very pleased with his progress and the function of his heart. One of the doctors actually held up his EKG and stated "this is the EKG of a normal baby." Music to our ears indeed. Jordan has also been growing since he left the hospital - he is now well over birthweight (7 lb. 12 oz.) at a whopping 8 pounds 1 ounce! He has also grown an inch and a half, measuring in at 20.5 inches!
Jordan has also been adjusting well to life in New Jersey. OK, he doesn't get out too much these days, except to go to the hospital - its too cold out!. But Sadaf and I have found New Jersey to be quite, well... convenient. Most stores have a parking lot, which is very convenient, and are connected to other stores in these structures called "malls." There is also a great store exclusive to this area that has everything you can ever imagine in one store - its called "Target." So we've been getting along just fine.
Of course, we don't know too many people in these parts. I'm sure at some point Sadaf will want to hook up with some other moms in the area so she doesn't go completely stir crazy.
